What we cannot provide

To keep things clear and fair, there are some things we are not able to do:

• We cannot give personal tax, financial or legal advice.
• We cannot calculate or check your individual tax position for you.
• We cannot act on your behalf with HMRC or any other body.

TaxEngines is an information platform. Any response we give is general in nature and is not personal advice. If your question depends on your specific circumstances, a professional adviser is the right place to go.

Expected response times

We aim to acknowledge genuine enquiries within a few working days. Reports of suspected calculation errors and security issues are prioritised. We are a small platform, so please bear with us during busy periods.

Reporting a suspected error

If a figure looks wrong, the most helpful reports include the calculator name, the tax year, the exact inputs you used and the result you expected. That lets us reproduce the calculation and check it against official figures quickly.

Responsible disclosure

If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, please report it to us privately at info@taxengines.co.uk rather than disclosing it publicly, and give us a reasonable opportunity to investigate and fix it. We are grateful for responsible disclosure and will acknowledge your report.

Much of our roadmap is shaped by what people ask for. If there is a calculator or guide you would find useful, tell us — it genuinely helps us prioritise.
